- Growing up in South GA you can't help but appreciate the pecan industry. Georgia is the #1 state for pecan acres and production with an economic impact of over 200 million in 2022. In 2018, I purchased this farm and the journey began. Little did I know, what was originally intended to be a hobby farm, has now turned into a full time business. Most people don’t realize what all goes into growing any crop, much less a pecan. At times it gets a little overwhelming, but at the end of the day when you ride through the orchard, you get a sense of satisfaction when you look up and see trees loaded with pecans.
